Temper tantrums are not usually viewed as totally preventable and curable. Most parenting "experts" will unapologetically say that temper tantrums are normal and natural, and a strongly unavoidable part of parenting children. They will, however give you hints about preventing some tantrums by being diligent in avoiding tantrum triggers such as frustration, hunger, and tiredness.
You might decide to continue thinking that tantrums are unavoidable and here to stay, simply because parenting experts throughout generations continue to tell us they are. If so, you won't get any argument from me. I'll just stay quiet like I've been over the past thirty-four years while impatiently preparing for sharing my tantrum prevention and elimination secrets with others. But if, however, you can open your thinking to the probability that temper tantrums could actually be 100 percent preventable as well as curable, I'm belatedly ready to share.
My first five kids all threw tantrums...none of my last eight did. My fifth child, at 14 months old, was forever finished with temper tantrums by a week or so after I found out what needed to be changed in my parenting methods. Since that event I've consistently and thoroughly tested out my tantrum-preventing techniques on my own kids, and I have tested the validity of most mainstream parenting advice regarding child discipline.
For instance, I was able to learn how to get general, overall cooperation from toddlers, how to easily get out of arguments with kids and teens, and how I should calculate the exact and perfect length of a child's grounding. I've also been able to give complete explanations for why time-outs are an objectionable and difficult childhood discipline method that isn't as good as many others I've worked out.
I share all of this discipline how to and much more. I share all the preventive and curative skills anyone needs to totally eliminate temper tantrums from their family's lifestyle.
