Others were trains to become sniff dogs for booby traps during the war therefore making them useful in knowing the places in which the enemy has set them accordingly. However they helped in winning the fight and ending it for good. The training was massive and become a success afterwards. Till today, the task is still set and professionals are employed to carry out the training for police dogs.
There were others which were trained in sensing the enemy and they could alert the soldiers in the cam. This is where set to keep security since assigned different locations around the camp to make sure there was no one from the outside who could enter the base without them soldiers knowing.
