Is Search Engine Optimization Actually Dead? The Truth Finally Disclosed

By Evelyn Myers

Not a day passes that I do not get an e-mail claiming that SEO is dead. Have you ever discovered that those that are yelling SEO is dead, just happen to have a miracle option. Sometimes its a plugin, a service, or some bogus software.

Do not get me wrong, those individuals can do or state whatever they wish to. Hey, even more power to them! On the other side of the concern I run into victims of these so-called anti-SEO individuals method too typically.

Just for a minute I want you to take a look at SEO from a birds-eye view. 100% of the people who are trying to find something online use some sort of online search engine. Even if you are utilizing an iPhone and you mention to Siri to find your regional pizza place, it is using a search engine. Can all of us agree that it is very important to have your site provided in search results? Right?

At this point we should both be on the same page. I hope that you and I agree about the importance of having your site indexed in the search results. There is only two ways to show up in the search results. You can (A) Pay for it, or (B) get indexed organically. Paying for it is known as Pay-Per-Click or PPC. Generating search results organically is known as Search Engine Optimization or SEO.

I challenge you to go to Google right now and search for anything that you are interested in. I guarantee you that whatever you are searching for you will generate some sort of results. Each and every one of those results were generated organically. This is proof that SEO is not dead.

The best advice I can give to anyone is find a reliable source to get your information. If you are interested in learning how to finally jump start your online business you are going to need a mentor to guide you through the shark infested waters of online marketing.
